The Oceanic are part of what has been nicknamed
the "Caribbean Invasion", which has seen two expansion teams (and one
team relocation) arrive in the Caribbean. The team plays at the Mountain
Dew PowerDome, located near the beaches in Nassau, Bahamas. The
PowerDome is also home to the National Aquarium of Bahamas (which
features many species of sharks and rays), a bar and grill, a gigantic
arcade, and several smaller rinks, and a cricket field. Despite the
team's peculiar location, the fanbase is growing nonstop. It's also made
Bahamas a destination for hockey fans who want to get away from it all
(except their beloved sport that is).
