BSPN News: Oceanic stars Ben Cory and Niall Donovan thrown out of club, then arrested

A photo of the nightclub where Cory and Donovan were thrown out of.

While the BMHL itself is struggling to survive, one team has found itself into trouble off the ice. Oceanic forwards Niall Donovan and Ben Cory were both put behind bars after passing out over a police car after being thrown out of a nightclub, and vomiting over a police car and threatening a police officer. They were bailed by GM Kyle Peters the next morning.

BSPN was allowed to interview the two Nassau players. Ben Cory, who was still slightly intoxicated, said the following:

Ben Cory: it was a wild night and it's fuckin bullshit that we got arrested! I don't remember a thing but I know we don't belong in jail, and we shouldn't have been thrown out of that pub at all! The policeman was on duty or whatever, but he had no sense throwing us in here at all. The nightclub is gonna go down, because they just made a big mistake screwing with the Nassau Oceanic!

Cory then fell asleep, before waking up for a second and telling BSPN to "fuck off".

Niall Donovan, seen here lying down next to a fish tank holding an unseen Kalik. Note the leftover vomit stain on the shorts.

Donovan was found at the aquarium at the Mtn Dew Powerdome, the home of the Oceanic and Nassau's biggest entertainment complex as well. He was sitting in a corner next to a tank full of several Queen Triggerfish, and drinking a Kalik. He was banging on the glass loudly and yelling insults at the fish. "It's a cool fish but it's so fucking stupid and useless", Donovan said. After BSPN asked him about the night before, he said "yeah it's not the first time i've been thrown out, but those club guys were dicks. Of course the only thing I remember was when I tapped this hot piece of ass, but I don't remember a damn thing".

Several diehard Oceanic fans came to the club wearing their Oceanic jerseys and t-shirts and have started fights at the club, so far 28 people have been thrown out. So have the Oceanic found a new enemy? The city of Nassau will decide if hockey will win over a popular nightclub.
